Ten years ago, I was a graduate student in international relations at a fancy-ish school in a big East Coast city. Today I am a RN, working in maternal-child health at a small tribal clinic in northern Wisconsin. I'm married, trying to have a baby in an atypical manner. I have a dog and two cats. I hate the "Life Is Good" merchandise, but generally, at present time, I agree with the sentiment.
"Extremely adequate" is a descriptor I once heard, and I've found it to be appealingly accurate on a multitude of subjects. This serves as my catch-all blog for updates, socio-political rants, and general rambling.
